Phyllis Roewe

Phyllis is a vivid colorist and has an innate sense of design. She says "Painting in watercolor allows me to express the joy and excitement I feel in experiencing the beauty of the world around me. When others tell me they feel happy just looking at my paintings, I know I've achieved something worthwhile."

Phyllis's landscapes, florals, and abstracts reflect her excitement for texture, color and design. Her paintings include traditional and contemporary styles. Her recent crystalline papers include watercolor, acrylic, and collage, creating interesting patterns, colors and design.

Phyllis has traveled to Ireland, England, France, and Italy to paint landscapes and various scenes. The award winning artist has been represented in local galleries and many of her pieces are in private collections, banks, hospitals, and corporate offices. She is a signature member of St. Louis Watercolor Society and Best of Missouri Hands.
