Phyllis Roewe

I paint images that attract and excite me, using color, light, shapes & texture. Whether I paint contemporary or traditional pieces, it's the mixture of colors and light that move across the paper that excited me. I chose watercolor as my main medium and often use different techniques and materials such as acrylics and collage to develop them. Watercolor gives me the transparent, soft edged luminous colors that helps me achieve what I'm striving for.
